The 28th Bataan Memorial Death March

I was one month pregnant when Morgen did her first volunteer work 158 miles away from the Buckhorn Tavern with supporting the Las Cruces Chamber Water Station.

A celebrated survivor of the original march, Ret. U.S. Army Col. Ben Skardon, returned to participate in the memorial march for the 10th time. Surrounded by a crew of supporters, dubbed "Ben's Brigade," he walked 8.5 miles of the course. He is months away from his 100th birthday.
